I promise not every thing in my life is baby oriented (not entirely anyways) It does consume a lot my thoughts, but I do actually have a life still. Daren and I completed the birthing class. We actually are really glad we did it (we weren't at first) Almost 9 weeks left and I'd say we're pretty much ready.
Anyways, I had a doctors appointment today. She wanted me in for an ultrasound because I was measuring quite a few weeks big. The ultrasound tech was a hoot today. He was a good time. I was still nervous before this ultrasound, who knows what they could find out. No surprise, the kid has a gigantic Boston head. But he also has a gigantic body apparently. He's just all around a bit larger than he should be at this point. 88 percentile (head is 97) I made him make sure my little baby is actually a boy. Sure enough I don't have to run out and buy anything girly. He is definitely a boy!
This picture is horrible (it's a picture of the picture in really bad lighting...not my baby, he is photogenic) But I had to show it because look at those lips! He definitely got his mamas lips.
I feel like I got a lot of information at this appointment it was hard to actually comprehend everything. I really have very few complaints. I wish the crazy dreams would go away- Jerry Sloan and breast pumps was last night. How they were connected I'm still not sure but they were. Usually whatever was on the news is present in my dreams. A lot of Jimmer Fredette dreams. I also hate that I can't enjoy a normal sized meal (normal to me...those proportion followers would probably think it was ideal what I've had to cut back to) I get full way to fast. Really for the most part I love being pregnant (I think part of it is due to the fact I'm terrified of labor) I even really enjoy when little man kicks my ribs. Thankfully I've got some busy weekends ahead of me so I can keep distracted for the next 9 weeks. Excellent!

One Long Week Off...
So, I had a week off of work. It felt like an eternity. I'm very grateful for the time off mainly because my brain doesn't shut off with the to-do list that I've got in my brain. However, my parents and brothers(this is the first time it's ever happened this way so it was shocking) went on a cruise and I was babysitting Charlie. The first couple of days I kept Charlie up at my parents house and just went up to let him out during the day. That became too exhausting so I took him to my house. Oh I will never own 3 dogs! That was a lot of work as well, but in the end I kind of ended up missing the little guy when I had to take him back home.
We went for walks when the weather permitted
That was also a crazy idea....they were all over the place...
In other news, I did get a lot of stuff done for my baby's room. Not everything by any means...I'm still not even close but that's ok!I made his quilt. First and last quilt I will ever make ;)
His room is set up....minus crib which is coming soon..
I put the dresser together....not alone, Daren wouldn't let me work with the wood glue BAHHAHAH
I made some art for the man's room. Hippos seemed fitting...
Other than that, I've just been eating lots and reading tons and tons of books. I painted my toes last night, oh for crying out loud- that was a chore and a half. I still can see my toes though. I go to the dr every 2 weeks now, ultrasound next friday. Hurray 11 more weeks!

Welcome To The Year 2000....I Mean 2011
A new year is among us. I can't believe it's 2011!! Last year I posted my new years resolutions and I am here to report I didn't do so bad. I had wanted to go on a trip with just me and the mister, sew a bunch, balance my checkbook, and quit having the lettuce taken off of my food.
I know it doesn't count as just the two of us but I'm counting when we went to California as our trip. It was fantastic!
I am sewing a bunch for sure! I made some sheets for baby's room so far, next up is the bumper. Also for Christmas Daren decided he wanted a new beanie made by me, he wouldn't let me measure his head and told me to make a large one...so I did. The picture below shows just how huge it was. I'm going to have to try again. I also posted a picture below of my little guys shoes I made him. Hey, I had a lot of free time over the holidays.
Now back to the resolutions...balancing my checkbook went to hell in a hand basket because Daren finally was able to be added to my banking account and he's off in his own world swiping away but that's ok.
And as for eating the lettuce that didn't last either. In fact, I never really started. However, since being pregnant prefer the lettuce on my Old Grist Mill(a local sandwich place) and when I made tacos I put lettuce on them as well, go figure.
I'm not making resolutions this year!! I'm just an overachiever right now as it is, so I'll just go with that and get everything done on my lists.
I'm posting these pictures that Kelsi took, I think she'll be surprised to see that I am. But for New Years Eve Kelsi brought up the Michael Jackson Experience game(along with her fedora) and I had a wicked good time. I bought Daren a dvd of some of his music videos and he has made me watch it weekly, if not more, the past couple of weeks. So it made me appreciate this game. I was sad Daren was home sick and didn't get to participate. I danced for an hour and a half. I'm sure baby didn't love it nor did my body with how much I was aching the next day. But I would recommend this for everyone.--- that is not my shirt it's Michael's I had to borrow so I could take my sweatshirt off.
Now, as my one reader(or commenter) mentioned, I needed to post a belly picture. I was planning to but it got the fire under me to actually do take it. I really don't know why I don't like it, I normally love attention just for some reason don't love this kind of attention.
Right now I am halfway through my 25th week. Can ya believe only 15 more weeks? I about had a nervous breakdown when I was trying to get to sleep and couldn't stop thinking about how I am not even remotely prepared! I thought I was doing well on buying things but I think it's so unknown that I just don't even know what to get. I took a picture of all the stuff I have so far... I'M BEHIND!

Merry Christmas 2010
My brain is fried. I know they tell you that will happen when you're pregnant but I forget some of the stupidest things. But as I always do, I am not too good at getting out my camera. But at least I have some pictures to document the festivities.
Christmas Eve, I can't figure out if I'm suppose to want to do any celebrating of anything that day or what. How the day was spent was Daren stuck with his nephew(who was very nervous about not being in bed before Santa came) up at Porcupine Dam. I borrowed my parents new vacuum to see if it's the one I wanted, so I spent over an hour vacuuming my house. Seriously....we know how to party.
On Christmas day, I woke up before Daren did and just did some cleaning and work around the house. Once Daren woke up we opened each other gifts. He says I'm hard to buy gifts for, but he always blows me away with how fantastic of a job he does! He got me some sewing stuff as I plan to make baby Gus's baby bedding. Baby Gus is also the proud owner of some Aggie apparel, some bought by me, some bought by Daren. After that, we headed up to my parents house for the Christmas celebration!
Boston Family Christmas just wasn't the same this year. We celebrated the 26th-28th but Brian and his family chose to not come out this year, as they'll be moving back soon enough. We did the gift exchange on the 26th. Michael and AJ had us....OH NO!....but they did so well! I actually really liked my gift. Including a baby's owner manual, which I think is great. We thankfully did get to Skype the Philly Bostons and I always forget how much I miss them.
On the 27th, I(Daren had to work these days...bummer) went out to Kelsi's new house and had breakfast....and then lunch.....and then we went bowling. Me and Audrey were a team....
....... She was thrilled can't ya tell?
Later that night instead of doing our usual gingerbread house decorating...we decided to decorate "gingerbread men" but really we wanted sugar cookies. But everyone had to decorate the cookie as someone else. It was hilarious. I wish I had gotten all of the cookies because they were good. The picture below, from left to right, it was me- made by Joe (and my pregnant belly) Andria-made my Kelsi(and her old permed hair) my mom- made my Kennady and then mine is the one on the bottom...which was of Kelsi.
The "winner" was Audrey...made by my mom.
Overall, it was a really good time. I'm sad we didn't get a chance to get down to Daren's parent's. The Gordon's picked one of the days that my family had already scheduled everything. I'm so grateful for everyone and everything they did for Daren and I during the holidays.....
Oh and PS...yes, I loved my parents vacuum I bought my own. Yipee!!!!

Smurf Turf
I had the super awesome, wonderful, fantastic, etc experience to go to Boise for the Boise vs USU football game. I've become a "good friend" (probably more me thinking that than the other way around) and I asked him if he could get my dad, he originally wanted to take my mom to the game, some tickets for the game. He came through for us and got enough tickets we could go. Unfortunately, my mom couldn't make it so it was just me, my dad, and AJ.
I have always hated that blue field. It really is hideous. I'm glad they have now passed something that says you can have different colored turf. AJ is the one who told me that so who knows how much truth there is to that but I'll take it! There were some great things Boise did that I really appreciate it...first their marching band played our fight song. There were only a few of us Aggie fans but I think we all really loved it. Also, they have a dog fetch the kickers stand thing. I don't know how to even explain that better but a trained football dog. I WANT ONE!
I was glad to see my boys one last time this season...even if it was an embarrassing loss 14-50. The drive was definitely long...but I'm glad I got it out of my system when I'm 21 weeks rather than when I'm bigger or with a kid. But I'm good to have a stay at home weekend.

All Cause I Wanted A Good Buffet...
After my doctors appointment last week, I was on the go! We left immediately after to Daren's parents house to begin the Thanksgiving festivities. The roads thankfully weren't too awful after that "Storm of the Century" {whoomp, whoomp}
Thanksgiving was a great success, no pictures to document the day of course. We did have family pictures taken since it was the first time ALL Gordon family members were present. I can't wait to see them.
My birthday festivities were fantastic! Back tracking.. One Sunday a couple weeks ago I was talking about how I'd give anything for Logan to have a decent buffet (I'm sorry, I mean NICE buffet, no Golden Corral or Chuck O Rama) so Kelsi suggested we go to Vegas for my birthday. I think everyone thought we'd get over it but no such luck. Us 4 headed to Vegas for my birthday.
We stayed at the Stratosphere. I didn't get many pictures, I have to use my picture taking time with Daren sparingly. We watched the Christmas Bellagio fountain thing and I loved it. That was a lot of walking for me apparently though, I couldn't do much unfortunately.
On Saturday we went to the Bellagio buffet. I probably could have eaten more than I really ended up eating. They had some wicked good sushi. Kelsi tried the duck. But my favorite section was definitely the desserts...They had these white chocolate nutella ice cream cone things. Oh geez....
We left really early on Sunday morning because of the storm that was going to be coming in. I'd still say we hit it but we still made pretty good time.
My parents watched Meli, Wes & Heather had Kona. You could tell Meli was tuckered out last night. I took this picture. I love when my dogs lay like humans on our bed. I missed them so much!
Now, I'll share some pictures of my lil stud muffin. I love technology. I couldn't have survived the days before finding out what you're going to have. But I really didn't expect the 3d pictures to be so fantastic either. I mean, for crying out loud, that is my baby!
Much better than the regular pictures.... Baby Gus(the name will be Gus until he arrives or once me and Daren can agree on a name...which ever comes first) does have some clothes that I bought in Vegas. I can't wait to begin getting everything ready now. Oh my baby is so sweet already!
